About me
I'm happy you found me! My name is Annette, and I come from a diverse background of art, science, and exploration. I graduated in Fine Arts from USC in 2007. After college, I worked in graphic design, but it didn't feel fulfilled. Luckily, I found that my empathetic nature, love for design, and background in science were a perfect fit for UX design.
As a UX designer, I get to dive into the science behind how people think and feel. I collaborate with teams to create designs that not only meet what users need but also surprise them with something even better!
UX design is always changing, which keeps me excited and challenged. I love turning tricky problems into easy, fun designs that make products better. Working with engineers, stakeholders, and other designers is like having a big team of creative minds. We bring different ideas together to make awesome stuff. Every project is like a new puzzle to solve and a chance to come up with new ideas. UX design is a job that always feels exciting and fulfilling!
Now, I focus on content strategy and UX copywriting. I use my skills to make words in apps and websites clear, concise, and useful. I practice the same mantra in my work that I do in my everyday life; Less is always more.
